Who We Are

Hello!

Betty Jo Pyle is a fourth-generation Great Dane breeder and professional handler. Her family’s kennel, Dun Roman Danes, was established in 1942 by her great-grandmother and has maintained a longstanding reputation for excellence. As both a breeder of giant breeds and a professional handler specializing in working, sporting, and hound breeds, Ms. Pyle possesses a comprehensive understanding of the physical and mental conditioning required to promote canine health, performance, and longevity.

Recognizing the value of Fast CAT as both a conditioning tool and a means of decompression during show clusters, Ms. Pyle became actively involved in the sport. Through her participation in numerous trials, she identified opportunities to enhance safety protocols and event operations. These observations led to the founding of Pawsitive Performance, an organization dedicated to delivering safe, efficient, and enjoyable Fast CAT experiences for exhibitors and their dogs.

Stacy Weatherford has bred French Bulldogs under the Veritas kennel name for more than 15 years and brings extensive expertise in canine breeding, handling, and welfare. As a professional handler specializing in non-sporting, toy, and terrier breeds, she has developed a broad understanding of breed-specific needs and competitive performance.

Her experience breeding and exhibiting French Bulldogs, a brachycephalic breed with unique health and safety considerations, provides valuable insights into risk management, canine well-being, and event safety. Ms. Weatherford’s knowledge and commitment to responsible canine care strengthen the Pawsitive Performance team and support its mission to provide professionally managed, safety-focused events.

Pawsitive Performance is proudly female-run and family-operated!
